Show Xing in Tweetdeck? It really works!

(English version after the German text)

I use Tweetdeck to keep track of my social media accounts at a glance. Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Buzz - anything goes. In addition to Xing. But today I got an idea how to riff it anyway. Here's the short guide:

First Create a new Twitter account with as cryptic names. "Find by e-mail" Disable in the Settings uncheck "Protect my tweets."

Second RSS-to-Twitter service (eg FeedBurner) use. The RSS feeds in Twitter read:

https:// [Xing username]: [Xing password] @ www.xing.com / protect / stories "new in my network"

https:// [Xing username]: [Xing password] @ www.xing.com / protect / cpvisits "visitor of my profile"

You must give to the service but his Twitter username and password, this is a security hole. Both feed forward to the new Twitter account.

Third Invest in the new Tweetdeck Twitter account and create appropriate Coloumn.

4th DONE ;-)

English short version:

First create a twitter account with a cryptic name, deactivate the "Find by e-mail off" in the settings activate "protect my tweets." So this account can not be found or followed.

Second Use RSS-to-Twitter service (eg FeedBurner). The RSS feeds in Twitter read:

https:// [Xing-username]: [Xing Password] @ www.xing.com / protect / stories "new in my network"

https:// [Xing-username]: [Xing Password] @ www.xing.com / protect / cpvisits "visitor of my profile"

Note: You give to the service Your Twitter username and password, Which is a security hole.

Third Both feeds forward to the new Twitter account.

4th Add the new account in Twitter Tweetdeck and create Appropriate Coloumn.

5th Wait for the updates first. Be happy :-)

2 Comments on Twitter Show in Tweetdeck? It really works!

  • The comments I've been looking for. Thank you.

  • Oh yes, one more note:

It can integrate with this method of course any RSS feed into their Twitter timeline. Class, for example, to be automatically advised of new posts in a blog.

I've even brought it almost had a heart attack: One has then that is his timeline tweets, which according to a Twitter itself, but it has not even written. I thought for a while that someone has hacked my twitter account.
